1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 beaten eggs
2 cups over ripe mashed bananas
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup melted butter

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350.
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda. (it called for 1/4 salt. oops i forgot)
Set aside.
Mix eggs, butter, bananas, and sugar.
oh hey I slipped in some vanilla extract. why not yanno?
Add flour mixture all at once. Stir until moistened. Okay I beat the hell out of mine.
It says the butter should be lumpy, how can butter be lumpy if you melted it?
duh I say to the betty crocker cookbook. Btw this is my version of her version.

Pour into a bread pan.

Bake for 55 to 60 minutes. To tell you the truth I pay little attention to the time.
The old trick if the tooth pick pulls out clean it's done...works.

I hate dried out bread so I have a tendency to under bake mine by a few minutes.
Let it cool in the pan.
They say to wrap and store over night before slicing.

ARE THEY JOKING?
