I'm all about simple pleasures.
The simpler the better.

Not unless I have to.

If you get the chance, check out Thomas Keller's salmon tartare in The French Laundry Cookbook. I've been meaning to make it for years. Sigh. I think I would have preferred this recipe with the sesame oil, some lime juice, and finely chopped jalapeno.
I have that book. Will do.
Want to know something?
I can't do spicy.
A.B. it burns.
as in can't even taste the food hot.
I'm a tastebud wimp when it comes to heat.
My daughter and DSIL love this..:)
I am going to send the link to her..
Kathleen, I can taste the soft, melt in your mouth tuna! Simple and delicious!
Yum! One of my favorite things to eat!
Also, the Salmon tartare in the French Laundry cookbook is very doable. I think you need lemon oil though, which I didn't have and used lemons instead. Then it turned out more like a ceviche than a tartare. Oops! Use the lemon oil! =P
Chuck! Who ARE you? Whoever you are...
"you so get it".
Alice~! I think you're right, am going to have to try that.
Glad you all stopped by, a little company is a good thing~ : ))))
