On the Subject of Love ...

I have never felt that love was a possession.
I watch people hold on to it as if it is.
When they do ...
they imprison themselves and hold hostage
the person
they say they love.
That isn't love.

Love cannot be forced.

You can be Love,
you can give love,
you can receive love,
you cannot own love.

The heart feels what the heart feels ...
or does not,
an unwillingness to accept that
is an exercise in futility.

We all dream of happily ever after.
That happily ever after begins within.
That happily ever after isn't dependent upon someone else.

Blessed are those who find
someone with whom to share that happiness.

I'm blessed in many ways.
We all are.

One Love. One Peace. Always and all ways.

Sarah ...

you so get it.

and thank you. I mean that.

When I started this blog, it was solely for me, keep track of recipes and photographs, its where I process my life, and along the way I've met some incredible people.

There's so much negativity out there, I only want to share the good stuff.

Blessings to you~
