I know.
It's hard to tell what it is ...
It's hard to tell what it is ...
You're too close.
Step back.
You have to ...
in order to see the whole picture.
Clarity requires it.
Life ...
is about seeing the whole picture.
Clarity requires it.
Life ...
is about seeing the whole picture.
One Love. One Peace. Always and all ways.

Great post!!
I had a discussion last night with my husband about this same exact message. Many of my young friends are caught up in what is happening now and some are not happy with life at this moment. I always say, look ahead and see what you want for yourself. Look at the big picture and you will one day have what you see in it. Love this post. It rings true.
Hi Donna!
A friend of mine over on FB pointed out the opposite. That there are times when the whole picture is too much. I have to agree to a certain extent with her, in that there are times when it is. There are times typically in crisis when you can only see what is right in front of you, and to get through those moments are all you can do for a time ...
until you are strong enough to take that step back. It is not the place to stay.
When problem solving at some point one does have to step back, in order to gain perspective that I believe is needed in order to move forward in a healthy manner.
I'm all about present moment. Staying present. Being fully present. Which has everything to do with not cluttering the mind with what has been, or what will be.
But I also believe that kind of presence gives us an awareness greater than what we would have if we solely focused on our immediateness.
I love what you say, look at the big picture and you will one day have what you "see" in it.
that rings true on so many levels.
Donna thank you for taking the time to write such a thoughtful comment.
Boy you got me rambling.
I think my main point on the post, is that when you are too close to something, you can't see it clearly ... you have to step back a bit.
you know. you get it.
I get it! I loved this discussion. Thanks Kathleen. I enjoy your messages. They make me smile because so many don't get similiar messages I may be speaking of and it's nice to be here at your place where you do and we have that in common.
I think we do have that in common Donna! I like having you here. I like it a lot.
